Help I think I inhaled gas and im scared if i have brain damage or something?

I bought a barbecue lighter so I can take the sparker from inside it. I noticed the gas inside and it was attached to a small pipe. I removed the piper from it and kept it on my desk. The next day i was studying and i noticed the pipe next to my text book. I have a habit of putting stuff in my mouth. I put the small pipe in my mouth and stayed playing with it. I inhaled slightly through it and in my mouth I could taste the horrible gas. As funny as this seems I'm scared that i could be brain damaged or something. (Help)
