What is the significance of America's Puritan origins according to Tocqueville?
How does Tocqueville's account of "harmony" between religion and freedom in the Puritan Founding compare and contrast with Madison's "Memorial and Remonstrance" and Jefferson's "Bill for Religious Freedom"? Is Madison or Jefferson closer to Tocqueville?
