It seems pretty selfish that a grown up can't realize that people with a stroke don't really want to walk an hour or more for a barbecue. Why won't my car start?

I have a '96 Olds Ciera with a 3.1. Now that's it's getting warmer out, it doesn't like to start. I use my car to deliver mail and it will run fine all day until I turn it off and try to start it again. It will turn over but not fire. When it turns over, it isn't smooth. It chugs and sputters and stinks, like a barbecue grill. But it will start with a jump. After I jump start it, it runs rough for a couple minutes. I rev it up a little and it smooths out and runs fine. I've replaced the alternator, battery, and intake air temp sensor. I'm running out of ideas.

Well due to the fact that you need the money you'll have to settle. Keep your job hunt alive though I know that you want to maximize time with your boyfried but if taking an extra 30 minutes just to fill out a job application is what it takes. A Feminist/Pagan/Christian dream, would it make a good story?

Last night I dreamed of a strange Cinderella-like story; it took place in 17 century England, London was under Patriarchal Puritanism, they weeded out all Catholics and Pagans and destroyed statues of the Virgin Mary and the Goddess. And here is were the Cinderella character comes along, her mother died giving birth to her while under the statue of the Virgin Mother/Goddess in some sort of shrine/graveyard. Her Puritan Father married again to an unkind woman with two most beautiful but arrogant and self-righteous daughters, and the Father soon died from an unknown illness, and the Stepmother married again to a slow-witted but a more harsh man. The women of this time were looked down upon, they were expected to follow their Husbands/Father's guidance and advice. Puritan/Calvinistic Men called Women 'daughters of temptation' which might explain why the stepmother seemed so cruel even to her own kind, but mostly to her stepdaughter. While her own daughters were obedient, domestic and (sanctimoniously) pious, the stepdaughter was headstrong, optimistic, stubborn and (in her stepmother's mind) not Biblically feminine. She would beat and strap her until her back was blue and bloody. The step-family left for a holiday to look at the handsome prince/king of some rich country. While the stepsisters were trained in manners, silence, submission and virtue, the stepmother forbade the stepdaughter to come and if she was rebellious, she would threaten her to send her to a brothel; and if she ran away, she would have her chased as a thief and whore. The daughter ran towards the graveyard to cry, and she found the Virgin Mother/Goddess statue and wept underneath it. Until, a very ugly old woman dressed in black and in the company of owls and black cats appeared and frightened her. She thought she was a pagan witch, but the Pagan woman helped her in a fairy godmother way, but as the girl turned around to thank the Pagan woman, she saw the statue of the Virgin Mary/Goddess winked at her.

If invited to a friend's house for a party, should you assume you have to bring your own food?

I had a first time invitation to a friend's house for what she termed "a picnic." I arrived at the appointed time to find her husband grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. I didn't see my friend, but there was bowls and dishes of food out on the picnic table, so I grabbed a paper plate and started to load up when I heard her voice behind me saying, "What do you think you're doing?" I turned around to see her scowling at me. I told her I was helping myself. She snapped, "Yeah, to MY food!" Come to find out, she assumed I would bring my own food. She was willing to have her husband grill anything I brought that required it, but other than that, I was on my own. Did advance Auto break My car?

ok. My car was cranking slow in the mornings. so i drove up to advance and had them do a load test on the battery. ever since they did that now it wont start. it wont crank. the starter wont even click. it has enough power to run the headlights and blast the horn and light up everything inside but it will not even try to crank. i put a new battery in it just to make sure. still nothing. it's a manual so we tried push starting it. i Pulled it with my jeep about 15 mph and had My friend engage the clutch and even at that speed it still would not fire. We dragged it 100 yards. popping the clutch along the way. it wouldn't even sputter. i checked the fuses. they are all good. i looked at the harness. No problem. is it just a coincidence this happened after the people at advanced load tested it? or is it likely that they screwed it up? what could they have possibly done that would cause such a problem? i didn't think those machines that do the load test would let you do it wrong. i thought that if it was hooked up wrong it wouldn't run the test. is that correct? i checked the fuses. its getting fuel. it's got plenty of juice in the battery. i can't think of anything else that could make that starter not engage. or not even allow it to fire during a push start. the whole thing is just dead. did advance break it? or is this just coincidence? i ask because i can't think of anything they could have done on a load test that could have done this. can you? oh its a 96 Plymouth Breeze in case your were wondering. nothing fancy. just an old pile of junk. :-)

well idk maybe is because im in high school (11th grade) and people say im going through that "awkward" stage but lately ive been feeling really left out. Does dancing contribute to weight loss?

I believe that the reason I have not gotten fat is because of my dancing. Last year I use to eat like a pig, I ate everything you could possibly think of, But i danced every single day in my room, I made it a nightly ritual everynight I'd blast music & practice my dancing moves:) this including alot of jumping and fast moving, using my arms, hips and legs. would this be why I never got fat?... & could it still be the reason today, I don't dance as much but maybe my dancing fastened my metabolism? is this possible?

Hello - I have spent the best part of an hour research Vitamin A. The DRV for women is 2500 IU's of Vitamin A with at least 20% as beta carotene. One bowl has 113 calories which means by the time I've had lunch, I've had 226 calories. I have a digestive biscuit or a fruit if I feel hungry before dinner. A digestive biscuit has 74 calories. By dinner time, I've had 300 calories. I have a breast piece of barbecue for dinner which I'm not sure but has around 257 calories I think. Which means I have 557 calories a day. I eat more digestive biscuits if I feel I'm taking very less calories. I want to know how much weight and in how much time will I lose if I continue this diet. Thanks. :)

Hi, I just bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the PC after it was on sale on Steam. I downgraded the client to v2 and I'm having a blast with the mods, though, how would you keep two mods? I downloaded the fuel mod, replaced the files with it's files, and it worked. Then I installed the allinone pack mod which replaces the same files the fuel mod does. My kitten wants to go outside, all the time....advice ?

Two months ago I got an adorable kitten, he was two months at the time. Now he's almost 4 months, and is up to date with his shots. I do have a collar for him with his name, and our address just in case he does run outside. So basically when I first got him, the weather was getting hot outside, so my family started barbecuing again. I'd feel bad because he'd had to be inside, while we were outside enjoying the weather. So at time my siblings, or I would carry him outside for a few minutes. At first he was subtle , but than he started running out of arms, and heading in bushes. My mom only allowed him to go to our bedrooms, living room etc, if he stays an indoor cat. That's why we stopped taking him outside, because he's literally prone to get dirty. Now he keeps meowing, and always wants to be let out. Our vet told us no, he said it was dangerous, and our kitten would fight with other cats. He acts violent if he can't go outside,or he keeps meowing. At times I let him on our drive way for a little bit, but he keeps running of to the road, or dirty places. So i don't know what to do, he's always meowing to go outside, or he acts possessed and jumps every where until we take him outside, but then he doesn't listen to us !

I have a 2001 ford zx2 (2dr model of escort) it has 101,000 miles on it the oil change is up to date,I get plenty of heat and the ac works wonderful gets super cold,the antifreeze does boil a little in the bottle sometimes,it is brown but it does not go bone dry,the needle wonders over to the hot side some,but the thermometer never gets red like the engine is over heating,and also if i turn on my air full blast the needle goes back normal....what maybe wrong wit this car geesh cars i tell you!!!

Trying to build, tone and lose fat. are power and protein bars a good way to go?

I tend to work out 4-5x a week. I've been working out and dieting for about 6 weeks. I tend to stay at the gym from 1hr-3hrs. I want to work out as much as i can to get the best results possible because my weight loss has been really slow, I've lost about 7 llbs so far. I've been using whey powder and making shakes out of soy milk, whey, grapefruit, strawberries and oranges. but most recently I bought IronGirl powerbars for before my workout, powerbar energy blast fruit chews for during my workout (which I've noticed REALLY give me energy) and protein plus bars which include 20g of protein. If I'm having a slower workout I'll only take the irongirl bar and possible a protein bar but today (I had a 3 hour workout) I had all three plus a whey shake. is this to much? I dont know if this is enough for just body building or how protein works really. I noticed the energy blasts have a lot of sugar and the bars have lots of carbs and sugar - which I don't believe is very good for weight loss. is their types of energy and protein supplements that have fewer carbs and sugars? or is what I'm doing good for the results I want?

One bowl has 113 calories which means by the time I've had lunch, I've had 226 calories. I have a digestive biscuit or a fruit if I feel hungry before dinner. A digestive biscuit has 74 calories. By dinner time, I've had 300 calories. I have a breast piece of barbecue for dinner which I'm not sure but has around 257 calories I think. Which means I have 557 calories a day. I eat more digestive biscuits if I feel I'm taking very less calories. I want to know how much weight and in how much time will I lose if I continue this diet. Thanks. :)

Your team is alright. I would make a few changes though. Take out Blissey. I know it has a lot of HP but it needs to go because of its poor speed, attack, and defense. Replace it with a Haxorus / Hydreigon because those are both fast and good. Once you have one of those two in replace Zoroark with Volcarona. Volcarona has awesome Sp.attack and speed which would help your team a lot. I don't really like Arcanine either, but that's just my personal preference. A very underused pokemon is Excadrill. They have good attck and speed as well. I hope this helps!

Broken Super Soaker Arctic Blast?

I would order a non-alcholic beer like an O'Douls or something and ask the bartender to put it in a beer stein. If it was somewhere that had a waitress at a table, I would just plug it with my tongue to make it look like I was drinking and then swap my full beer with someone when they looked away. Not too many people question a newly full beer. If it was a private setting like going to someone's house, I would go get a 6 pack of bottled beer with twist off caps, preferably some beer that no one else drinks or knows what it tastes like. I'd swap the beer with non-alcoholoc beer and put the caps back on. Then if someone wanted one of mine or took a sip they usually wouldn't like it but they didn't know the beer anyways. That wouldn't work well with BudLight or something because everyone knows what that tastes like. That is going REALLY far but it worked super well. If you don't want to go through all of that, I would just tell your buddy that you really don't enjoy drinking but that in no way is meant as an insult to his upcoming marriage. So I'm a saved christian woman. I believe in God and strive to live my life according to his will each day. I'm new in town so I joined a church about three months back here. At first the church was great. I was making friends and I truly felt like these people care about me. As time went by I began to get involved in the ministry. Helping where I could. Sometimes during the day as well. There is a kitchen in the church where all the married woman sit. I went to join them for the day while they worked and was shocked to discover how much they can gossip! Everyone knew everyone's business and they were openly gossiping about people who were not in the kitchen. Next incident was when the guys started chatting to me. I thought well they are christian so why not get to know them. As soon as I opened up my home to these church people they were in my business 24-7. showing up unannounced and stalking me on facebook, texts and phone calls. There were about 4 guys that were bothering me. It annoyed me sooo much. The next incident was at a Monday night prayer meeting. The Pastor was dancing on stage as if he was in a club! And then at the end of the service he made us all lay on the floor on our backs with our hands stretched upwards. He told us to pray and honor him. That for me felt really unscriptural. After that I ended up meeting a guy that I really thought would make a good partner. He turned out to be on a worse level of psychotic. Stalked me at my home and at church and as we spoke I found that he has a criminal record and at one point he started flirting with me.
